"my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. “Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children." - Hosea 4:6

God both commands and encourages us to get to know HIM intimately. The only way to do that is to spend time in HIS Word. It is recommended that we achieve that in two ways:

1. Individually spending time reading and meditating on it daily.
2. Corporate or group study that allows for a deep dive into HIS WORD and the ability to ask questions, seek guidance and clarity and well as fulfill the message in Hebrews 10:25 "forsake not the assembling together..."
